Psychologist Assignment

Location: Seattle, Washington

Description: Maxim Nurse Staffing is hiring Psychologist Assignment right now, this occupation will be designated in Washington. Maxim Seattle is currently looking for experienced Psychologists that are interested in working in a school setting located south of Renton, WA. Duration of the assignment would be for! the 2013-2014 School year, thus commencing in early September of this year. Minimum Qualifications:
1. ESA certification in School Psychology.
2. National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
3. Washington Department of Health (DOH) License
4. Master’s Degree in Psychology or School Psychology preferred

• Proof of Current TB status (skin test or chest x-ray)
• Current CPR card (Must be recognized by American Heart Association)
• Demonstrated desire and ability to collaborate through work and communication with staff, students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibil! ities include:

• Performs therapy, counseling and / or case management with prisoners on the treatment team caseload in individual or group setting.
• Therapy may include supportive and other directive techniques as deemed therapeutically appropriate, along with educational and cognitive â€" behavioral techniques.
• Provides crisis intervention / emergency suicide interventions and evaluations.
• Documents treatment provided on appropriate forms in the medical record in a timely manner as required by policy directive, operating procedure or supervisor.

Qualifications include:

• Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or university with a curriculum in Psychology approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) and transcripts must be included with application.
• Completion of an APA accredited internship under a licensed Psychologist.
• Current vali! d unrestricted license to practice in the specialty of Psychology.
• Certified documentation of education, training and license per contract requirement.
• Documentation of experience per contract requirement.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of (1) one year relevant work experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Maxim background screening and hiring process.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening exam(s) with a passing score of 80% or greater.
