Location: Holly Park Medical & Dental Clinic
This position functions as a member of the collaborative care team that include! s the patient, primary care provider, behavioral health provider, consulting psychiatrist, and other medical staff. This position is responsible for providing integrated behavioral health care in consultation with the primary care team and for coordinating referrals to clinically indicated services outside the primary care clinic (e.g., social services, mental health specialty care, and substance abuse treatment).
Job Requirements:
1. Education â€" Master’s or doctorate degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field; and be qualified Mental Health Professional under WAC 388-865-0100 or qualified as a Mental Health Care Provider and supervised by a Mental Health Professional or Masters in Social Work. (Current registration/licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Marriage and Family Therapist Associate; Licensed Social Worker or Social Worker Associate; or Certified Counselor or Counselor Assoc! iate.
2. Experience â€" 1-3 years of experience worki! ng with individuals with a disability, the elderly, mothers and children, and/or other high risk groups; 1 year experience in a multicultural health care clinic and direct service experience with bilingual/bicultural patients; and fluency in English and at least one API language.
