Job Summary The Psychosocial Nurse in Home Health provides mental health services, including psychosocial assessment, ongoing treatment, case management, and medication administration/management in consultation with the ARNP & consulting team psychiatrist.
The Psychosocial Nurse also provides basic medical nursing care that is based on established standards of care, department policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Psychosocial Nurse assumes responsibility as interdisciplinary team member in the Home Health department (HH) and provides consultation and education to the agency and the community. Qualifications and Requirements Education Background Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Work Experience Minimum two years experience in the direct treatment of mentally ill individuals under the supervision of a mental health professional, preferably in geropsych, community mental health, or home health setting.
License or Certification Current State of Washington professional nursing license. Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification by date of hire. Current Washington State driver’s license and proof of insurance. Clean driving record
