ICS & MTFC Therapist (20hrs/wk)

Description: Kitsap Mental Health Services is currently interviewing ICS & MTFC Therapist (20hrs/wk) right now, this position will be placed in Washington. For detail informations about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. PURPOSE:
Provide cognitive behavioral treatment therapy to chronically and seriously emotionally disturbed children within the MTFC treatment model and the BRS contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Provide face to face individual therapy to program youth in or out of facility as assigned by the supervisor or as specified by the MTFC contract. Work strictly within the MTFC behavioral philosophy and model when needed and other modalities with BRS youths.
Be ava! ilable to provide therapy during evening hours on occasion as ! needed.
Participate in the development of individual treatment plan for each youth. Maintain appropriate records including intake evaluations, utilization reviews, and treatment plans; and document all sessions and pertinent information in the chart in accordance with BRS, CA, RSN, MTFC model and contractual standards. Complete documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Collaborate with schools, doctors, psychiatrists, GAL’s, case workers, probation officers, bio-parents, foster parents, other treatment foster care agencies, Inpatient Units, YMCA and other such community resources to ensure continuity of care.
Provide ILS evaluation for youth connected with DCFS and follow through with ILS supervisor. (as needed)
Participate in team meetings, MTFC and BRS clinical consultation, and Child and Family team meetings and other meetings as required.
Function as a supportive member of the team and participate constructively in pr! oblem solving.
Promote teamwork atmosphere.
Provide crisis intervention services when necessary and be available by pager or cell phone to provide support to the youth.
Participate in program development and implementation as needed.
