Shift Hours: 0800â€"1630 Job Type: Partâ€"time Onâ€"Call Required: No Rotating Weekends: No Rotating Holidays: No Description POSITION SUMMARY: Working in a teamâ€"oriented environment, directs and provides patient care for a broad range of psychiatric clinical presentations, ensures proper care, diagnosis, treatment and recovery for assigned patients in facilities providing outpatient psychiatric services. May also function as an attending or consulting physician for Emergency Department and/or hospital inpatients and as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing efficient and supportive care. ED: State of Washington Physician's and DEA Licensure; credentialed through Harrison Medical CenterBLS CertifiedSPECIALIZED TRAINING REQUIRED: Residency and Board Certification in Psychiatry or eligibility in Psychiatry. CONTINUING EDUCATION & COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: Professional continuing education required to maintain State of Washington medical license, State of Washington DEA; Harrison Medical Center staff privileges and all annual mandatory YED classes required by Harrison Medical Center Age Specific continuing competency requirements: Knowledge and expertise in providing general psychiatric medical care.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One year providing psychiatric physician services at an acute care psychiatric facility preferred but not required.
