3 plus years of practice in mental health or emergency psychiatry with specific experience in emergency psychiatric evaluations and risk assessment or a combination of education and/or experience
WA State Counselor Agency Affiliated Registration (CG) (current or pending) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Social Worker Advanced License (LASW) or Social Worker Associate Advanced License (SA) or Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical License (SC)
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills to include the ability to promote a healing, trusting environment and to establish a therapeutic relationship with patients and families
Able to teach, mentor, manage conflicting priorities and manage time effectively and efficiently
Able to make sound judgment in clinical decision-making using information from multiple sources with attention to detail
Independent ! care decisions
Ability to function effectively as a team m! ember in an interdisciplinary primary care team
Work requires ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs or less
Prefer: 5 plus years’ experience in the care of the acutely ill psychiatric patient with experience in emergency assessment; experience in hospital or other medical setting
