Looking for BE/BC Psychiatrist (option for Medical Director position as well) for our 15 bed in-patient mental health unit. New state-of-the-art, all private rooms. Details: Physician will lead treatment team and oversee on-call psychiatry team while focusing on quality outcomes. Call is 1:4 (one week a month including weekend). Mix of acute to chronically mentally ill adults. Strong clinical background with some administrative experience preferred. 70% clinical 30% admin. In 2013 we will participate in education of medical students and residents so academic work will be available for anyone interested. Fast paced environment. Program development. Join RN’s, Master level counselors, Recreation Therapists and Mental Health Specialists. Employed, salaried position: $215K depending on experience. We provide acute voluntary and involuntary treatment of psychiatric disorders - with the exception of those caused by dementia - for people 18 years and older. A full range of ancillary medical services is available if necessary to accommodate patients with other ongoing medical issues. We have highly qualified staff of psychiatrists, ARNP's, and PA-C's (all with prescriptive authority.) Centrally located between Seattle, WA and Vancouver, B.C., providing a gateway to the San Juan Islands, Cascade Mountains and so much more! Hospital features new, expanded facilities including a spacious surgical service department with six operating rooms; a new Family Birth Center with advanced amenities for patients and their families and private patient rooms throughout, all enhancing the hospital’s advanced diagnostics, acute care services, comprehensive Regional Cancer Care Center and growing Heart & Vascular Institute.
