Combine your studies with hands-on business experience
As a student assistant in Group Finance, you will work closely with our team to ensure and strengthen transparency in finance reporting. You will have the opportunity to apply your analytical skills to investigate and model data, develop and implement statistical programming, and learn about finance business partnering.
Further, you will:
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends that can enhance business insights
- Conduct data analysis and modeling to support forecasting project
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports

- Assist in ad-hoc tasks and work alongside your manager’s agenda

A student with strong programming skills
We imagine that you study a Bachelor's - or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics-Economics or similar. You have completed at least 2 years of your studies and have at least one year left.
The most essential is that you possess strong programming skills. You need to be proficient in a programming language such as Python, R, or similar in order to model data. Moreover, you should have a solid understanding of statistical methods and techniques to analyze and interpret data and patterns.
Additionally, we imagine that you possess:
- A solid understanding of financial concepts such as accounting, budgeting, and financial statements
- Problem-solving skills as you will analyze complex problems and come up with creative solutions
- Proficiency in Excel
- Great English skills, both written and spoken, as it is the main language of the company
- An eye to details as financial reports require accuracy
As a Student Assistant, you will be assisting in larger projects across the department as well as independently tackle ad-hoc assignments. This requires the ability to take initiative and complete tasks within the agreed-upon time frame.
