Psychiatry (General) - A large community based Medical Center in the Auburn Area is seeking to add an Adult Psychiatrist. You will be joining a team of experienced psychiatrists, working in a 28 bed psychiatric unit.
Weekend Call is only 1:6
The hospital offers a very attractive salary and an extensive benefits package.
The incoming physician can expect to step into a very busy and well run department. Currently there is one nurse practitioner who works directly with the psychiatrist(s). The unit staff currently includes 20 nurses, 14 techs, three therapists and a social worker. Hospital security staff have been trained to respond and intervene, at the direction of the nursing staff, if necessary.
This is a 314 bed regional medical center that has an active staff of more than 145 physicians. Additionally, the Medical Center has been the recipient of numerous accolades relating to quality patient care, as well as the distinction of being rated as Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For†for two consecutive years.
This area is constantly growing. Home to some of the nation’s best and brightest schools: A major university with a student population of more than 25K students. Newsweek recently ranked the high school as best in the state, and all other public schools in the area are also highly ranked.
