Wheel'd is a partner with FedEx Ground Contractors, and is looking to hire additional help to deliver packages to residents throughout Greensboro and surrounding areas. Drivers will be provided a daily rate and will decide what days their available for work. This job is great opportunity for individuals who need flexibility.

You must be 21 years of age.
Key qualifications:
-All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.
-Drivers must have no more than 2 citations or traffic violations on their motor vehicle record in the past 3 years.
-Experience not required but preferred.
-Reliability, strong work ethic, results driven, commitment to excellence, problem solving, time management skills, patience, customer focus.
Required Technical Skills:
-Use a smartphone with GPS
-Use a scanner, provided by the contractor to log deliveries.

Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of local roads and routes
