Vishay Capella is currently seeking a permanent Subcon Engineer, Opto responsible for:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Joining the annual audit together with internal backend QA, and external subcon’s QA teams to ensure all corrective actions, technical specification, and processes control are running according to production protocol
- Establishing and maintaining the technical databases, production parameters for all subcon/full-resales parts
- To work closely with internal frontend and backend QA, FA Lab, R&D, and external subcon’s QA/Technology/Operation to verify the root cause of customer complaints, the effectiveness of corrective actions (written in the 8D report), and propose the technical improvement/insights when there are recurrences of customer complaints
- Working with Product Marketing, R&D, QA, and external Subcon Sales, Subcon R&D, Subcon QA to maintain/update the qualification plan of subcon parts, subcon business process (qWiki), customer specific technical requirements (CTAS), document change notification (DCN), product change notice (PCN), approval technical product & process changes (ATP, including the qualification test plan, QTP) to ensure error free datasheets/testing specifications
- Regularly tracking the yield rate, production bottleneck, and our chip’s performance in subcon’s assembly lines
- Supporting important and emergent tasks that are related to the subcon operation and the growth of subcon business
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or above in electronics, materials, physics, chemical, or engineering
- Major in semiconductor, or hands on experience in IC packaging, chip process, failure analysis, industrial engineering, quality statistics is a plus
- Patient, flexible, open mind, and good skills in solving problems in a cross-cultural teamwork environment
- Willing to travel and work with colleagues/subcon engineers in Asian Pacific Regions (10~20%)
