About the job:
We are looking for an ambitious Senior Payroll Analyst who is passionate about playing a critical role in a company poised to innovate the healthcare services sector and reach stratospheric levels of growth and success. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances and have the opportunity to grow your duties and responsibilities commensurate with the growth of the company.
Responsibilities:
Execute all payroll processing tasks to ensuring timely and accurate payroll results; validating time entries through pay distribution
Benefits administration inc luding open enrollment, on-boarding new employees, COBRA administration, employee communications and monthly invoicing reconciliation
Keep up on the latest regulatory changes that impact payroll and/or benefits and implement and validate systems and processes are updated accordingly
Support employee inquiries providing quick and accurate responses and follow up through employee satisfaction
Run adhoc reports from the payroll and/or benefits system as needed to support business units and the accounting team
Maintain the ADP GLI tool and create journal entries after each run and balance against the source documents
Validating quarterly and annual tax reporting for various jurisdictions; including Form W2
Integration of newly acquired company’s data into ADP WorkforceNow
Preparing quarterly Washington State L&I reporting any payment
Other duties as assigned
Preferred skills and experience:
5 - 7 years of multi-state and multi entity payroll administration experience
Knowledge of benefits administration, open enrollment and reconciliation of monthly invoices
Exceptional customer service skills following up on issues until resolved
Understanding of payroll and benefits general ledger entries up to and including reconciliation
Demonstrated strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, formulas, macros)
Proven analytics and problem-solving skills; ability to create adhoc reports from payroll system
Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions/updates as needed
Knowledge of ADP software specifically experience with WorkforceNow preferred
Comfortable with ambiguity and a willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy in fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
