Cougar Health Services physicians provide primary care for WSU students. This practice requires competence in general medicine, gynecology, sports medicine, trauma, infectious diseases including STIs, minor surgical skills, dermatology, womenâs health a nd psychosocial medicine using current Standards of care. In-house referrals are encouraged when appropriate; local and regional specialists are available for referral as needed. Patients needing mental health services may be referred to WSU Counseling & Psychological Services and Behavioral Health to the staff psychiatrist, or to other community mental health professionals. In all interactions preventive care, patient education and cost effective practice styles are valued.

Position Term in Months 9 Monthly Salary Commensurate with qualifications and experienceDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO). Completion of an accredited residency program in area of practice. Must possess, or be able to obtain by time of hire, licensure as a doctor of medicine (MD) or doctor of osteopathy (DO) by the State of Washington.
M.D. / D.O. degree; board eligible or board certified in a pri mary care specialty.
Ability to obtain DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) certification by time of hire.
Ability to obtain privileges at Pullman Regional Hospital.
Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
Three (3) years of experience in a primary care setting.
College health experience.
Electronic Medical Record training or experience.
