The Center for Pain Relief at UWMC-Roosevelt is dedicated to predicting, diagnosing and preventing pain from becoming a disabling disease. This state of the art outpatient clinic provides comprehensive pain evaluations and inter-profess! ional treatment services for patients with difficult to treat ! and complex persistent pain.

The Center offers the advice of Pain specialists with a background in anesthesiology, internal medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, psychology, radiology, rehabilitation and sports medicine. They provide consultations and treatments using medications as well as alternative medicine, rehabilitation counseling, focused psychological methods, psychopharmacology and image-guided minimally invasive procedures. The Center has an interventional procedural area with two procedure rooms. One room contains “Nu-Boom digital technology fluoroscopy C-Arm” and the second procedure room contains a “state of the art” CT enhanced 3D rotational imaging system (Phillips Allura Flat Panel).

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Health Services Manager. The Manager is responsible for directing the nursing, business, technical and support activities of this ambulatory medical clinic. Oversees administrative and clinical functions of the clinic including operations, facilities, finance, human resources, and works collaboratively with School of Medicine in planning and development.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • BSN required.
  • Minimum of 4 years management/supervisory experience in a medical setting.
  • Basic computer knowledge (Word and Excel).
  • EMR proficiency.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, working collaboratively with medical leadership and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the financial performance of the clinic.
DESIRED:
  • Masters Degree in Business or Healt! h Care Administration, Nursing, or other related field preferred.
  • !
  • Experience in outpatient ambulatory care setting strongly preferred.
  • Experience in supervising RN's who are administering "sedation for procedures" preferred.
  • Experience with caring for Chronic Pain Patients preferred.
