Description: Highline Medical Center is at present looking to employ Utilization Review RN/Intake Coordinator right now, this vacancy will be reside in Washington. More details about this vacancy opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Our Geriatric Psychiatry Center has a position available in Utilization Review. In this position you will be responsible for tracking admits; providing inf! ormation to insurance companies; tracking length of stay; documenting correspondence and keeping treatment team informed of updates. Qualified applicants will have knowledge of Geriatric services, i.e. assessments, intake coordination, referral and inpatient/outpatient services.
Must have an unencumbered Washington State RN license and have experience in Med/Surg or a Geriatric Psychiatry Unit. Utilization Review experience preferred. Must have Computer/word processing skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. A working knowledge of managed care providers and government based insurance is a plus.
This is a per diem position covering for sick calls, leaves and vacations. Shift: Variable Hours: Per Diem
