Our Department of Psychology/Psychiatry has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time, 75%, Re! search Study Coordinator Lead. Under general direction from th! e Project Director, lead and coordinate research studies involving human subjects and requiring application of knowledge and skills specific to the study.

Typical Work includes: Staff Management: Regularly assign, instruct and check the work of others; with delegated authority, train new employees, act upon leave requests, participate in performance reviews. Study Management: Assist in modifying procedures for collecting and summarizing data; Review status of research study to ensure adherence to research protocols and take action to correct problems such as deviation from protocol requirements; maintain compliance with study protocol and institution policies and procedures. In consultation with primary investigator, project director, agencies and other staff, participate in and assist with the formulation of research procedures; establish program goals and timetables; attend and participate in scientific meetings; Ensure that established guidelines and goal! s for identifying subject pool and recruiting participants are met; Coordinate recruitment of research subjects; Implement research protocol and monitor participant compliance; take action to correct problems such as deviation from protocol. Data Management: Use database management programs to oversee data collection and determine whether they are consistent with experimental goals and to ensure adherence to study protocol; verify accuracy of research data; IRB and Administration: Write/review human subjects applications and amendments in compliance with applicable regulations.

Coordinate with department administrators to meet standards for department and sponsor requirements; oversee ordering and reimbursement. Perform related duties as required. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in relevant academic area AND two years of experience as a Research Study Coordinator OR equivalent education/experience. Additional Skill Requirements: Experience coordinating large scale ! community human subjects research; experience working with IRB and with! randomized controlled trials; proficiency with management of research data; experience with Access, Excel, Qualitrics and data analysis software.

Desired: Master’s degree in related field; experience with staff supervision and staffing of complex projects.
