We also offer an intensive outpatient chemical dependency program, DBT, psychological testing and medication management services. Licensed by the State of Washington.POSITION DESCRIPTIONREGISTERED AND LICENSED DIETITIAN (RD, LD) Reports to: Clinic Director Key Interfaces: Outpatient Mental Health Clinicians, Psychiatric Physician Assistant, Office Manager and Support Staff Rationale: The Registered Dietitian is an experienced health care provider that supports the management of eating disorders through nutrition assessment and education. The RD works closely with the medical staff and collaboratively with multi-disciplinary clinicians in the outpatient services as well as support staff of Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. (NAL), in a collegial fashion. Job Duties: 1. Completes nutrition assessment/evaluation with patient.2. Establishes appropriate meal plan with ! patient. 3. Makes recommendations regarding supplementation wi! th patient. 4. Provides ongoing support of recommended therapy. 5. Offers nutrition education on various/topical subjects to patients and clinical staff. 6. Maintains legible and organized patient records in accordance with policy of Nystrom and requirements of the State of Washington. 7. Makes referrals to Nystrom outpatient clinicians and programs. 8. Qualifications: 1. Registered by the American Dietetic Association. 2. Unrestricted Dietitian License (State of Washington). 3. Knowledgeable about therapeutic approaches to patients with eating disorders. 4. Agrees with Nystrom & Associates, Ltd. Mission Statement.
