Providence is calling a 1.0 Day Shift Registered Nurse to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to perform a ! specialty role with our team.
In this position you will:
Provide safe, effective nursing care.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care needs for patients in a variety of care settings.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Two (2) years clinical experience in a hospital acute care setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Master's of Nursing or Counseling
Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Core Training and/or Hospice Education ! Network core curriculum training
Hospice and Palliati! ve Care Nursing Certification or eligible and working toward certification or willing to complete Certification
Two years clinical experience in Crisis Intervention or Inpatient Psychiatry Unit or Licensed Counseling
Two years experience in hospice, oncology or hospital-based palliative care
