The Moore Center is Washington State's longest-established eating disorders clinic, delivering caring and cost-effective treatment for adolescents, young adults and adults. Our multi-disc! iplinary, team-based approach provides patients and their families with customized and comprehensive treatment. To further expand our scope of services, we are in partnership with Eating Recovery Center, a Denver-based behavioral hospital specializing in the treatment of anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa.
The Moore Center is seeking a Therapist for the 7-day Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program. This position is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team of Dieticians, Psychiatrists, and Psychologists. We are a fast paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with individual, group and family therapy.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide comprehensive and ongoing assessment resulting in appropriate treatment and discharge recommendations.
Create an individualized treatment plan with specific and measurable goals. Must continually monitor progress and re-evaluate app! ropriateness of goals, resetting as appropriate.
Facilitat! e groups with expertise, demonstrating ability to engage, set limits and monitor the group process.
Complete clinical paperwork, progress notes, and group notes in a timely and accurate fashion.
Masters degree in the mental health field
Licensed in the state of Washington preferred
Skilled in providing both individual, family and group therapy
Experience in a fast paced environment
2 + years of experience with eating disorders preferred, not required
Trained in family based treatment a plus.
Basic knowledge of DBT, CBT and ACT a plus
History of working with patients with complex medical and psychological challenges a plus
