Department: Care Management Schedule: On-Call / Per Diem Shift: Days Hours: 8 Hours/Pay Period: 1 Job Details: We are currently seeking a Social Worker to work on an as needed basis on the day shift ! including weekends and holidays. . You will provide direct services to patients, families, and staff as part of an interdisciplinary team. Areas of coverage may include any or all of the following: Med/Surg, Critical Care, Mother/Baby, Oncology, Orthopedic, and Psychiatry.
You will be responsible for patient clinical assessment and treatment. You will provide after hospital planning, Identification/resolution of problems related to patients' transitions within the health care setting, psychological support or crisis intervention and appropriate utilization of organizational resources including appropriate length of stay Qualifications · Bachelors degree in Social Work from an accredited university required · Masters degree in Social Work preferred · Must possess one of the following licenses from the state of Washington: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW), or be eligible to register as an Agency Affi! liated Counselor upon hire · Familiarity with utilization m! anagement criteria and broad knowledge of community resources, medical terminology, hospital systems, insurance guidelines, and financial and risk management issues · 2 years experience in a health care setting Benefits We offer competitive pay and excellent benefits, including medical/dental/vision, generous Paid Time Off (PTO) program, a bank of Extended Illness hours, flexible spending accounts, 3-part retirement program including a match, employee discounts, free parking or free bus pass, and more.
