Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care needs for patients in a variety of care setting! s.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Two (2) years clinical experience in a hospital acute care setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Master's of Nursing or Counseling
Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse
End of Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) Core Training and/or Hospice Education Network core curriculum training
Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing Certification or eligible and working toward certification or willing to complete Certification
Two years clinical experience in Crisi! s Intervention or Inpatient Psychiatry Unit or Licensed Counse! ling
Two years experience in hospice, oncology or hospital-based palliative care
