Our INPATIENT PSYCHIATRY UNIT has an oustanding opportunity for a part-time (56%) MENTAL HEALTH SPECIALIST 2. Under the supervision of a RN, the Mental Health Specialist II utilizes a variety of clinical/psycho-therapeutic skills to contribute to bio-psycho-social patient assessment, and to collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team members in planning, implementing and documenting care from admission to discharge for psychiatric patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. Additionally, the MHS2 participates in unit and departmental activities to promote delivery of quality patient care, effective problem solvin! g and communication, and continued clinical development. Competitive candidates will have Bachelors Degree; one year of experience as a Mental Health Specialist 1, including hospital experience; have a valid, active Counselor Registration with the State of Washington; and exhibit clear and concise communications skills, both verbal and written.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree; AND one year as a Mental Health Specialist I, or equivalent; experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
