Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Behavioral Health Intake Coordinator with a strong background working with behavioral health practices to join our dynamic team. As an Intake Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking neuropsychological assessment and therapy services. Your role will be pivotal in providing thorough details of our testing process, understanding clients' needs, adding patients into our EHR system, and providing portal access.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake interviews to gather relevant information about new client’s mental health history and current concerns.
- Contact patients that have been referred through voice mail, fax, or email.
- Provide details of testing process including required paperwork needed for scheduling and timelines.
- Offer compassionate support to clients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the treatment process.
- Assist with scheduling as needed.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in conducting behavioral health intakes and assessments, ideally in a clinical setting or mental health facility.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and their efficacy in addressing specific mental health conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Empathetic, compassionate, and patient-oriented approach to client communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and follow through on client paperwork.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating the capacity for independent decision-making.
