BUSINESS ANALYST [United States]

 

Overview:

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, assessing business needs, and providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive decision-making and improve business processes. This position will sit in our new office in Morristown New Jersey, the salary range for this role is $120k to $140k plus YE bonus; however, Bayview considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, location and key skills. Responsibilities:

• Data Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collect and compile data from various sources, including databases, reports, and stakeholders.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Use statistical techniques and tools to interpret and present data effectively.
• Reporting and Presentation:
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Present complex information in a clear and understandable manner to stakeholders and management.
  • Assist in preparing business cases for new initiatives and projects.
• Project Support:
  • Support staff in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and align business strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, data visualization tools).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team.
• Familiarity with business analysis frameworks and techniques (e.g., SWOT analysis, process mapping) is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
• 1-2 years of experience in a business analysis role or recently graduated from college with relevant internships and coursework.
