I. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Description
This position performs both! clinical and administrative work. Clinical duties include the completion of intake evaluations, including a diagnostic formulation. Administrative responsibilities include facilitating access to services, tracking utilization, entering data into the management information system and other general support functions. Work is performed under the supervision of the Service Director and in close coordination with clinical and administrative staff.
Position Responsibilities
A. Clinical Intakes
1. Perform initial assessment and clinical diagnosis based on client background and presenting issues
2. Demonstrate familiarity with DSM criteria for clinical mental health diagnoses
3. Gather and clinically summarize client history and presenting issues
4. Monitor timeliness of intake process and case assignment to clinical staff
5. Ensure that connections are made with previous providers and community supports in order to promote continuity of care.!
6. Complete a written comprehensive assessment/intake, in! cluding a diagnostic formulation.
7. Complete documentation and client enrollment information
B. Utilization tracking
1. Verification of Medicaid eligibility through County and System programs.
2. Maintain tracking list of process steps for completion of required activities, such as intakes, consults, reports, authorizations, re-authorizations and transitions from service.
3. Conduct reviews of clinical records to ensure content, format, timeliness and quality standards of documentation are met.
4. Follow up with staff when information is missing or timeframes are not met.
5. Generate reports on compliance with established standards.
C. Data entry and Office Support
1. Enter client data from new referral sheets, client exit summaries, intakes and other clinical documents utilizing PsychConsult.
2. Provide administrative support as requested, such as filing, typing, copying, etc.
3. Review data entry for accuracy, creatin! g appropriate reports for team and system staff.
4. Monitor timeliness of reports for Incredible Years and other contracts.
5. Track billing of special population.
6. Provide administrative support for psychiatrist and clinical staff.
7. Process New Hire paperwork
8. Track required documents/trainings.
D. Comprehensive Quality Assurance
1. Assist Service Director in providing oversight to Quality Improvement and Assurance programs
2. Maintain familiarity with contract policies, procedures, and requirements
3. Oversee tracking of HR required trainings for all site staff and interns
4. Attend Quarterly Systemwide CQI Meetings, representing King County FP site
5. Engage Service Director to brainstorm, develop, and implement Annual Quality Improvement Goal and Plan
6. Suggest and initiate special projects and goals
7. Assist with developing administrative infrastructure (forms, data entry, etc) to support new and varied c! ontract requirements
E. Direct Clinical Services
1. Partic! ipate in regular after-hours crisis coverage rotation
2. Carry cases as primary or assisting clinician as assigned
3. Complete necessary documentation in order to fulfill contract obligations
F. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
II. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
A. Masters degree in social service field with two years clinical experience
B. Mental Health Professional or eligibility, per WAC requirement.
C. Well developed office skills, including phone systems, data entry, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
A. Bilingual in ! Spanish and English.
B. Experience completing mental health or social service intake assessments.
C. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
D. Highly organized and a self starter.
E. Demonstrated ability to work in the context of a team.
